Crawling Kilimanjaro

Kyle Maynard visited the school where I was substitute teaching today. I stopped by the field house, where he was speaking, but I was unable to stay for his talk. During the following period, I learned that he had climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. For a multitude of reasons – some obvious, and some that will quickly become apparent – I was intrigued.
