Six weeks from now, if all goes according to plan, we will be camping at 11,499 feet (3,505 meters), journeying toward the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Eariler today, I learned that people have already given over $500 to Engineering Ministries International (eMi) in support of the associated fundraiser! I’m incredibly thankful for these people, who have given to help meet needs in East Africa.
I am hopeful that, during the coming six weeks, people will rally around the goal of raising $5,895 or more (a dollar, in USD, per meter of Kilimanjaro’s elevation) to help eMi better serve people in East Africa.
